As the first quarter of 2021 has come to a close, it's a good time to look at the performance of the top city building games in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data offers a comprehensive view of how these games have fared on both iOS and Android platforms.

Starting with SimCity BuildIt, published by Electronic Arts, we observed a revenue trend fluctuating between $42K and $57K, peaking in late January. Downloads also peaked in early March with approximately 9K new installations. The weekly active users (WAUs) showed a decrease from 110K at the end of December to around 89K by the end of March.

Another popular title from Electronic Arts, The Simpsons™: Tapped Out, experienced revenue figures that ranged from around $33K to $49K, with downloads following a similar inconsistent pattern, peaking at approximately 8.8K in early March. The WAUs saw a slight decline from 142K at the beginning of the period to around 134K at the end.

Trailer Park Boys Greasy Money by Eastside Games showed revenues that generally hovered between $12K and $20K. Downloads for this title were more consistent but dropped to under 1K by the end of March. Its WAUs saw a modest decline from 6.8K to 5.6K over the quarter.

The Tribez: Build a Village, published by Game Insight, saw its revenue grow impressively from $10K at the beginning of the quarter to over $15K by the end, with the number of downloads trending upwards, reaching nearly 1.9K in the last week of March. The WAUs also increased, ending the quarter at just under 4K.

Lastly, Megapolis: City Building Sim by Social Quantum had revenues ranging from $5.5K to $8.4K. Downloads experienced a peak in early February at over 4K, then gradually decreased to 1.6K. The WAUs similarly decreased from 6.3K to around 5.4K by the end of March.
